Arrive at The Wayback, a gorgeous Texas Hill Country getaway just 15 minutes from downtown Austin. Settle into your cottage, before joining our small group for dinner, drinks, and your first creative prompt on the patio.
Open your door to the breeze flowing through the live oaks and enjoy breakfast on site. Let your inner painter play during our watercolor workshop with local artist, Madison Popkess, followed by lunch and free time. After our afternoon activity, reconvene with the group for a farm-to-table dinner and discussion.

Fuel up for a fun day in the lively city of Austin. Awaken your senses during a private perfume class, followed by lunch, people watching, and prompts while out and about. Return to The Wayback, take some personal time to reflect or create, then join the group for a hands-on cooking class. Taste the fruits of your labor during an al fresco dinner.

How It Works
Fill out our simple application form to let us know you’re interested. Because Fiorire retreats are purposefully small, we want to ensure the group consists of like-minded creatives who share the same goals.

Once your application is accepted, simply pay the deposit to secure your spot. Our fee includes everything once you arrive at our destination, so all you need to do is book your flight or plan your drive.
02. Book
Once you arrive at The Wayback, you can officially relax. The Fiorire team will walk you through the entire itinerary, all of which has been pre-paid for. We’ll take care of everything — including you!

I’m Josie: artist, entrepreneur, and experience lover like you
I’m guessing you and I appreciate many of the same activities: traveling, reading, gardening, eating exquisite meals. You know, things that inspire a sense of awe. But let’s be honest — how often do we get to actually do them?
After a decade of running my own creative businesses, I felt called to serve other artists who share my passion for beauty, meaning, and joy… but who just haven’t had the space for it lately.
Fiorire retreats are where we can carve out that space in an intentional (and fun!) way. We’ll travel to a stunning new place to explore our senses, rekindle our creativity, and grow together as artists and entrepreneurs.
What’s included?
Aside from travel costs (and any snacks or souvenirs you wish to buy), Fiorire is an all-inclusive experience. Your fee includes all lodging, meals, activities, and gifts during our time together. As long as you can get to and from The Wayback, we’ll take care of the rest!

Why should I invest in a Fiorire creative retreat?
A creative retreat is arguably the best way to bring inspiration, connection, and joy to your personal and professional life. Fiorire is different from other creative retreats in that our leader, Josie, has firsthand experience as an artist, entrepreneur, and world traveler. She knows the business and family challenges you face and desires to help you both as a guide and as a friend.
How big will the group be? What if I’m an introvert?
We cap each Fiorire retreat to 12 women to maintain an intimate yet diverse group. You won’t feel like a face in a crowd here — you will be known by name and leave with a handful of new friends who share your interests. Because we build in a healthy amount of free time in addition to group activities, Fiorire is perfect for both introverts and extroverts (especially, as Josie likes to call herself, “introverted extroverts”!).
Where will we stay? Will I have my own room?
Our home for the retreat will be The Wayback, a boutique hotel located in Texas Hill Country, just 15 minutes from downtown Austin. We will have the entire venue to ourselves on Monday and Tuesday. You may choose from a private or shared cabin during your stay. If you would like your own room, we have five one-bedroom cabins available for an additional cost. Otherwise, you will be paired with one other creative in a two-bedroom cabin, where you will still have plenty of privacy.
What should I bring?
Whatever you need to feel comfortable and creative! Texas in September can be toasty or cool, so layers are recommended. If you’d like to lounge by the saltwater pool, please bring your swimsuit. You’ll also want appropriate shoes for walking around downtown Austin on Wednesday. And feel free to bring your camera, art supplies, or reading material for our free periods if you’d like. Otherwise, all you really need is an open mind and attitude for adventure!
